IFD receives $455K grant for additional equipment, staff

The Indianapolis Fire Department has received a grant worth more than $455,000. Senator Joe Donnelly made the announcement Tuesday.

The money comes from FEMA.

The Fire Prevention Grant will allow the department to invest in additional equipment and staff.
