Person seriously injured in west side shooting Tuesday

A person was seriously injured in a shooting on the city’s west side Tuesday.

It happened in the 1800 block of Sharon Avenue around 10:40 p.m.

When police arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

A car was seen fleeing the scene though police do not have a description of that vehicle.

The name of the victim is being withheld at this time.
