Police seek leads in liquor store robbery

Indianapolis Metropolitan police need help finding a man captured on surveillance cameras robbing a liquor store on June 30.

According to police, two men robbed Fair Deal Liquor on 7939 W. 10th St., bursting into the store with guns. One suspect carried a handgun; the other a shotgun. The man with the handgun has been identified—police said he’s deceased—but the second man remains at large.

Police said the man took money from the store and then ran off. He was wearing a dark jacket with white lettering.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the felony arrest of the suspect. Tips must be submitted anonymously and directly to Crime Stoppers to be eligible for this cash reward.

Anonymous tips may also be submitted at the Crime Stoppers website. You will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to a felony arrest. Only tips submitted directly and anonymously are eligible for cash rewards.
