An Indiana teen seriously injured in a parasailing accident in Florida has suffered a setback.

Alexis Fairchild is recovering from emergency surgery at Methodist Hospital.

The 17-year-old had the operation on Friday, the same day she was released from the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana.

Doctors said she’s doing well now.

Fairchild and her friend, 17-year-old Sidney Good, were hurt when a rope broke sending them into a building and several parked cars on July 1.

Good was transferred to a rehab hospital last week.
