Police again asking for public’s help locating armed murder suspect

Police are again requesting the public’s help locating a murder suspect.

Dante Nichols, 30, is charged with murder, battery, and serious violent felon in possession of a firearm in connection with the death of 34-year-old Carlton Jenkins.

Jenkins was one of three people murdered during a 24-hour period on June 24. He was killed in the 3800 block of North Layman Avenue around 7 p.m.

Police have tracked down several leads but have yet to locate the suspect.

Nichols is believed to be armed and dangerous. The public is asked not to approach him.
