The owner of the old General Motors stamping plant is now looking to redevelop the property.

RACER Trust has selected 12 developers to submit bids.

Among the criteria for the developers: the price they’re willing to pay, how many jobs they might create and their reputation.

Earlier this year, the trust announced plans to demolish the more than 2 million square foot plant after two years of failed attempts to sell the building.

Officials now hope to sell the 102-acre site by the end of this year.
