Just before noon on Saturday, a single vehicle crash on interstate 65, southbound just south of State Road 26 in Lafayette sent the driver to the hospital.

Indiana State Police said a maroon Chevy Trailblazer driven by James Durham of Indianapolis was southbound on I-65 when witnesses say he started to change lanes and lost control of his vehicle, causing the SUV to roll four times.

The driver was taken to IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette with critical injuries.

Police say at the time of the crash the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, however they do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
