Police release surveillance pictures of Speedway robbery suspects

Police have released surveillance pictures of two suspects following a pair of armed robberies.

The first robbery happened at the Speedway station at 56th and Emerson around 12:25 a.m. Aug. 13. The second robbery happened just before 2 a.m. at another Speedway gas station at 62nd Street and Allisonville Road.

Police believe the robberies are connected. The suspects stole cigarettes and money after flashing a gun.

The suspects are described as being between 20 and 25 years old. Both stood about 5-feet-10-inches tall. One suspect wore a green camouflage hat while the other wore a black camouflage hat.
