RECIPES: Scotch Eggs

Ingredients:

4 hard boiled eggs (shell removed!)

12 oz lean pork sausage

flour as needed

2 eggs

1 cup milk

japanese bread crumbs as needed

enough vegetable oil to cover at least half an egg in deep pan or pot.

 

Instructions:

1) wisk milk and eggs together (make more as needed) 2)wrap each egg in 3 oz of sausage and pack into even balls.  Think snowball fight. Roll in flour, then egg mixture and finally coat in bread crumbs. Pack tightly and evenly.

3) deep fry eggs in 350 degree oil until golden brown.
