Speedway man accused of pointing gun at daughter’s head

A Speedway man is in the Marion County Jail, accused of pointing a gun at his daughter’s head and threatening to kill her.

The incident happened in the 2300 block of Lynnhurst Drive at approximately 8:15 p.m. Thursday.  According to a police report, 43 year-old Ronnie Brashear was intoxicated and began yelling at his wife and kids.  After they moved into a bedroom, Brashear followed, carrying a handgun, which he pointed at his wife’s face.  He then pointed the weapon at his teenaged daughter and threatened to kill her.

Brashear was taken into custody by Speedway Police without incident.
