Carly VanArsdall was located at the home Saturday just before midnight.

The police investigation uncovered Carly had been having an online relationship with the man since February. He drove to Carmel over the weekend and picked up Carly. She is now in protective custody with Pickens County Sheriff and plans for her return are in the works.

Carmel police and the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s office are working together to determine whether to file charges.
