Woman sought in armed robberies in Lafayette, Brownsburg

Authorities in Lafayette and Brownsburg are searching for a woman in connection with the robberies of two Advance America locations Monday.

Officers of the Lafayette Police Department responded to the robbery at 405 Sagamore Parkway South after it was reported the business was robbed by an armed woman. Authorities said the suspect displayed a black handgun and fled the businesses with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Surveillance footage captured the same woman robbing an Advance America business in Brownsburg.

The woman is described to be a white female with brown hair and around 26 years old. She is approximately 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs about 150 to 160 pounds. She was wearing a black and gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police said the woman should be considered armed and dangerous.
