The city of Indianapolis says it will reimburse homeowners after construction of a sports complex on the east side began drying up wells.

Officials are now working with the Department of Natural Resources to deal with the issue.

The World Sports Complex has been pumping water for weeks to irrigate fields.

Some have already replaced broken well pumps at a cost of more than $6,000 each.
