High school evacuated after bomb threat

ARCADIA – Hamilton Heights High School was evacuated after a bomb threat Friday.

Investigators said someone found a note in a bathroom trash can stating that a bomb had been placed in the building and would go off at 12:45 p.m. Students and employees were evacuated as a precaution.

An Indiana State Police bomb team and K-9 teams searched the school for anything suspicious. They gave the all clear at 1:15 p.m., and everyone was allowed back inside the building.
