Noblesville ended Brownsburg’s home game win streak which dates back to 2010. The Shamrocks lead the entire game and pitched a shutout until the 4th quarter in route to a 26-6 victory.

Noblesville improves to 2-0 on the season and they will get a shot at a big stage next week. The Shamrocks headed to Lucas Oil Stadium to face Fishers at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile Brownsburg drops to 1-1 as they now look towards their first road test of the season at Hamilton Southeastern.

It wasn’t all bad news for the Bulldogs who swapped out their traditional purple colors for red to support Riley Children’s Hospital. An official red Riley Week t-shirt was sold to raise money. Plus, each school that participated collected spare change and turned each donation into a red paper “chain link” that was assembled throughout the week.  The chain was presented to Riley representatives before Friday’s varsity football game.
