Car crashes into PNC bank

A PNC bank building was damaged Saturday morning after being hit by a car.

It happened just before 10:30 a.m. on East 46th Street.

Details are still coming in, but a beam supporting part of the bank’s awning was knocked off its foundation. Firefighters constructed a temporary support beam for the building.

No information is available on what caused the crash.
