Westfield Police have released a sketch of a person of interest involved in last week’s robbery of the Community Bank in Westfield.  This person was seen in near Asa Bales Park at 8 am the day of the robbery.  He was described as a black male, dark complexion, and clean shaven.  He is believed to be about 30-35 yrs old, 6 ft tall with an athletic build.  He was wearing a black bandanna and dressed in all black.

A suspect entered the bank last Saturday when it opened, implied a handgun, and demanded money.  He got away with an undetermined amount of money. Witnesses say he got away in an older white mini-van and fled the area. That suspect is described as a black between 20 and 30 years of age.  He was wearing dark pants and a dark shirt.  His face was covered by a white bandanna or pillow case.

Anyone with information about the bank robbery is asked to call Westfield Police.
