We are just a few hours away from the football frenzy downtown! The Colts begin their regular season games at Lucas Oil Stadium, and fans, as you can imagine, are excited.

We found some fans from right here in Indianapolis, others from different parts of the state. All are ready to have fun.

“We’re thrilled, ready to go, it’s going to be a great team, great season. Ready for a lot of great things this year,” says Jon Farmer.

“I think they can make the super bowl, ya know, not too many people may say that, but i do,” says Colts fan Tom Keller.

“We got a great quarterback, coach has really made this a great organization, should be exciting,” says Jake Zelt.

He and his family traveled all the way from Fort Wayne to make a weekend out of the Colts home opener. It’s a big deal to them, and they’ll definitely be watching their team closely.

In last year’s home opener, Andrew Luck led the team to a 23-20 comeback win over the Vikings. They hope this year brings even more success.

“Be great to make the playoffs again, and keep winning,” says Jake.

Before coming to the stadium, prepare for security checks getting in. Make sure you pack your belongings in a clear plastic bag like this one. It’s for your protection, so, officials can see that what you’re bringing in is safe.
