Dozens of animals were seized from a hoarding situation in Delaware County.

Authorities took 16 cats and five dogs from a feces-covered home in Cowan Tuesday. Officials will return Wednesday to remove five more cats.

A 12-year-old child wsa also removed from the home.

Fox59 has learned the owner of the house is a financial supporter and volunteer of Roscoe’s Rescue in Richmond, Ind.

The owner will faces several counts of animal neglect. Child neglect charges may also be filed.
