Crews investigating after vacant duplex catches fire

Police are investigating a duplex fire.

Firefighters were called to the 200 block of North Walcot Street just before 4 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found flames shooting through the attic of one home.

Crews were able to extinguish the blaze about 30 minutes later.

Neighbors tell Fox59 the house has been vacant for several years.

No injuries were reported.

Damages are estimated at $25,000. The cause remains under investigation.
