Police looking for short-change scammer

DANVILLE – Investigators are looking for a man at the center of a “short-change” scam at several Central Indiana businesses.

According to Hendricks County sheriff’s detectives, the man intentionally confuses cashiers while paying for purchases and ends up receiving more money than he’s due. During the most recent incident, he got back $300. It happened at a Walmart in Camby.
