Delta jet makes emergency landing at Indy airport

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—A regional jet with Delta Air Lines has landed safely after having to make an emergency landing at the Indianapolis International Airport Tuesday afternoon.

Airport officials said 41 people were aboard the plane that was headed to LaGuardia from Chicago.

Officials said steering issues were the reason for the emergency landing.
