Mr. Irsay did not disappoint.

The Indianapolis Colts have traded a first-round pick for Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson. The third overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Alabama, Richardson rushed for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2012. Richardson has struggled, along with the entire Browns offense in 2013, having only rushed for 105 yards in the first couple games of the season.

The acquisition of Richardson will shore up the Colts’ running back corps after the team lost second-year back Vick Ballard to a season-ending knee injury last week.
