The next phase of construction on U.S. 31 will begin later this week.

Thursday night, crews will start closing lanes on the Meridian Street exit, though, not all of the exit will be affected.

Next Monday, prepare for big changes. Crews will close 136th Street and Eglin Drive, west of U.S. 31 for two months.  They’ll be building a roundabout.

It’s all part of a multi-million dollar project that won’t be finished until late 2015.
