Police: Hair stolen from west side beauty supply store

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after someone burglarized a west side beauty supply store two days in a row, stealing expensive human hair.

Officers responded to Royal Beauty Supply at 4036 N. High School Road Tuesday and Wednesday after the store’s owner reported the break-ins. The owner told authorities he observed several packages of the human hair missing.

The owner stated the packages of hair are typically sold for $50 each. According to the police report, the owner estimated more than $1,000 of the hair was taken.
