INDIANAPOLIS – Police say they’ve found a car connected to a hit-and-run crash that left a man injured. Detectives still want to speak to two people following the Tuesday afternoon crash on the near north side.

Police located the green Chevrolet Malibu after receiving a tip from someone who spotted it Wednesday afternoon.

Michael Robertson, 59, was critically injured near 18th and Sheldon Streets around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators were looking for the green 1998 Chevrolet Malibu and two “persons of interest,” Felicia Moss, 30, and Nikia Acuff, 29. The car is registered to Moss, police said. They have yet to speak to either individual.

Neighbors said they recognized Robertson immediately after the crash because they’ve seen him walking every day.

Anyone with information should call 911 or Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS.
