The Bureau of Motor Vehicles is lowering some of its prices after an independent review found the BMV was mischarging its customers.

That review found several errors that led to undercharges and overcharges on a number of fees.

The BMV is going to work with the General Assembly to simplify the pricing system.

In the meantime, the overpriced fees will be lowered immediately.
