Police identify pedestrian fatally struck on I-65 in Greenwood

GREENWOOD, Ind.– Indiana State Police has positively identified a man who was struck and killed on Interstate 65 in Greenwood early Monday morning.

The accident occurred on I-65 southbound around 2:56 a.m.

Police have identified the victim as 22-year-old Orlando Torres-Lugo. Torres-Lugo was lying in the roadway of I-65 when he was hit by two vehicles.

Officials think a medical condition may have been a contributing factor in his death.
