Like many businesses across the country, the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, is hoping to ease the financial pain of furloughs for federal employees.

This weekend, October 5 &6, all federal employees will be able to visit the museum free of charge. All you have to do to get in for free is show your federal ID. You do not actually have to be furloughed in order to receive your free ticket. Family members of federal employees are not eligible for free admission.

The Museum is also including all active enlisted military in this promotion. Their immediate family members will receive a 10% discount on their tickets.

“It is our pleasure to extend this free admission offer to thank federal employees for their work,” said Dr. Jeffrey H. Patchen, president and CEO, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
