Firefighters responded to a large fire at a home on 81st near Ditch Road. Neighbors called 911 around 4:00 a.m. They reported seeing flames coming from the house.

Firefighters say the home was fully involved when they arrived. Family members of a woman showed up at the home asking if she was ok. Officials later determined she was not home at the time and her young daughter was at the babysitter.

At one point the roof collapsed and there were concerns about the safety of the structure. It took firefighters about 40 minutes to get the flames under control.

Officials say they are still investigating to determine a cause.
