Pedestrian hit and killed in Lebanon by teen driver

UPDATE: A pedestrian was hit and killed by a teenage driver in Boone County overnight Saturday.

Just before midnight, police say 25-year old Keegan Stiver was walking with a friend along South Perry Worth Road, near I-65, on the south side of Lebanon.

Police say a 17-year old year old female driver hit Stiver from behind. Stiver’s friend was not hit.

The victim was found lying in a nearby yard, dead of apparent blunt force trauma.

Police do not suspect the driver was drinking. The crash happened in a rural area where there are no sidewalks or streetlights.

The case is still under investigation.


A person was hit by a vehicle and killed just before midnight Saturday night.

Boone County dispatch confirms the person was crossing the street in the 1500 block of South Perry Worth Road, near I-65 when they were hit.

The driver is cooperating with police.
