FISHERS, Ind.—Four men were arrested early Thursday morning after police said they were conspiring to break into vehicles in a Fishers, Ind. hotel parking lot.

Jamiyl Gilbert, 21, Kyle Bates, 20, Lester Pargo, 20, and William Pargo, 21, (pictured above from left to right) were each arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit theft and possession of stolen property, both Class D felonies.

Around 12 a.m., an officer with the Fishers Police Department reported seeing two of the suspects standing in the rear parking lot of Studio 6 Hotel near 96th Street and I-69. The officer stated the two men started to walk away and duck behind a truck once they spotted the officer.

The officer told the suspects to come out from behind the truck. The officer later located two additional suspects hiding inside a 2007 Pontiac Grand AM. During a search of the Pontiac, officers located several stolen items. Police said the four suspects were also in possession of tools commonly used to break into vehicles.

After interviewing all four suspects, police determined they were involved in several vehicle thefts in the Indianapolis area earlier that night. Officers were able to recover all the stolen property from the Indianapolis thefts.

The suspects were transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
