Scattered rain and snow showers have developed this afternoon and will occasionally pass though the city and all of central Indiana through sunset.  At this time the more vigorous showers will produce a burst of big,wet snowflakes and sleet.  A burst here at the studios of Fox 59 were enough the coat the car windshields briefly.  No accumulation is expected on area roads as temperatures remain well above freezing.
