Winds could bring much warmer weather to area on Wednesday

A warmer couple of days expected for the work week with the potential for some communities to see highs in the 70s.  Rain chances will likely also go up in the middle of the week meaning it could be a soggy walk around the neighborhood as you accompany your little ghoul or princess.

The one thing that stands out to me right now as I am looking ahead are just how strong will winds become?  There’s a real chance we could see winds topping 30 mph late Tuesday into Wednesday which would push temperatures up above 61°, the 30 year average for this time of the year.

Right now we are looking at a high in the low 60s for both Monday and Tuesday.  A warm front will bring a brief chance for morning rain on Wednesday followed by warmer and windy weather.  We may see the season’s first wind advisory being issued on Wednesday.

If you are heading out Trick- or- Treating at this point it is looking like you will be doing it dry.  That could change depending on if, when and where a massive forecast area of low pressure is located at.  Currently it looks like it will bring a line of storms through the area sometime on Thursday.  Yesterday it clearly looked to be later overnight when most are in bed, but that has changed.  The GFS has it pushing through early Thursday now while the Euro has it arriving during the evening of Halloween.
