Indianapolis man arrested in Daviess County on drug and alcohol charges

An Indianapolis man was arrested Sunday morning in Daviess County on drug and alcohol charges.

Just after 9 a.m. an Indiana State Trooper pulled over a driver for speeding on US 50 just east of Washington.

While speaking with the driver, the trooper detected an odor of marijuana and alcohol on the driver.

The trooper located a small amount of marijuana on the driver after he attempted to dispose of it.

The driver, 35-year-old Seth Sanders of Indianapolis, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with a prior conviction and operating while intoxicated.
