Emergency crews suspend search for missing autistic teen

UPDATE: As of 6:50 p.m. Sunday crews suspended the search for Michael Williams, 16, who went missing earlier in the day.

Police ask that if you see him to please call 9-1-1.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 3, 2013) – Indianapolis Fire Department crews are looking for teenage boy with autism who went missing Sunday afternoon.

Michael Williams, 16, was last seen near 35th and Guilford Avenue around 5 p.m.

He is described as a black male, 6’3 and weighs about 135 lbs.

He was wearing blue jeans and a black patchy leather jacket when he left.

Officials say he has a history of leaving home.

Police ask if you see him to call 9-1-1 and no to approach him in case he may flee again.
