Police search for woman in blank check theft

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Indiana State Police is searching for a woman who is accused of breaking into a vehicle in the Anderson area and stealing blank checks and the victim’s ID.

Police said the theft occurred on Sept. 21 and the blank checks were cashed at Old National bank locations on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. The amount of money stolen totaled $6,000.

The suspect is described to be a white female, who was seen driving a four-door sedan.
