I-70 to close in Hancock County at 8 p.m. for fiber optic line repair

GREENFIELD, Ind.—The Indiana Department of Transportation will close ALL LANES of Interstate 70 in Hancock County near C.R. 200 West at 8 p.m. Friday evening.

State police will assist with traffic control as AT&T’s contractor restrings a critical fiber optics cable across the interstate highway.  Motorists can expect delays of approximately 30 minutes.

The fiber optic line was severed earlier today by construction workers.
