Warmer temperatures will continue to filter into the state today with highs likely in the middle 50s. Yesterday we hit 53 degrees. We expect temperatures will be slightly warmer than that today even with the development of clouds across the state. There is a chance for rain today mainly south of Indianapolis.
Looking at your weekend there will be at least a chance for severe weather on Sunday with a complex system driving a cold front in on Sunday night. Until then we expect to see temperatures in the 50s today and 60s both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be cloudy with a small chance for an isolated shower mainly late in the day. Sunday will see scattered rain throughout the day with the potential for storms late. At this point there is a lot of uncertainty about Sunday with model data and numbers showing a system not as powerful as was feared a couple of days ago. We will keep you up to date throughout the weekend.
Finally next week we see a return of the sun with highs ONLY in the 40s for a big portion of the work week.
