Two men rushed to hospital after head-on crash

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November, 17, 2013) — Two people were rushed to the hospital early Sunday morning after a head-on crash on the northeast side. The cars were driving opposite directions on College Avenue near East 19th Street, when one of the vehicles crossed the center lane, smashing into the other car.

A man who lives nearby said the noise shook his home. He looked out the window to see two cars, smashed together, smoke rising over the scene.

Rain was pounding down on the area at the time of the collision.

The condition of of both men wasn’t immediately available. No one else was in either car and no one else was hurt.

Police were investigating the crash.
