COLUMBUS – The body of a man killed in Columbus will be exhumed.

Parties are now working out the final details to conduct a forensic autopsy of Cary Owsley. The case was in court Wednesday.

Owsley’s death was ruled a suicide in April, but family members said there was no autopsy and believe the case wasn’t properly investigated. Owsley’s sister and mother have organized a Facebook page and rallies in their quest to get answers.

A court-appointed pathologist and an independent pathologist will conduct the autopsy with a third pathologist present as an observer.

The details of the exhumation are still being worked out.
