INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 20, 2013) – AT&T is hiring.
The telecommunications company needs to fill 70 jobs, including nearly 30 news ones. The positions include technicians, retail and corporate support.
Earlier this year, AT&T announced that it had invested more than $325 million in its Indiana wireless and wireline network during the first half of 2013. Those upgrades are part of a three-year plan to expand and enhance its broadband networks. AT&T invested more than $1.3 billion in its Indiana wireless and wired networks between 2010 and 2012.
According to AT&T officials, the telecommunications company employs more than 4,800 people in Indiana. It’s invested about $280 million to train employees and also provided about $26.6 million in tuition aid in 2012.
