It’s been a cold November even ahead of this weekend’s chill.

You should be prepared for one cold stretch as we wrap up the month of November.  As we head into the weekend temperatures will fall to the teens overnight with highs in the 20s expected for Sunday.  At this point we are forecasting a Sunday high of just 27 degrees.  That would be the coldest ‘high’ temperature we’ve had for a November day over the past ten years.  It will likely help push this month to the coldest month since 1997 when we ran 4.1° cooler than average for the month.  Right now, over the past 16 years, this month is ranked third coldest with our temperatures 2.5 degrees cooler than the average for the month.  In 2002 we had an average temperature that was 2.6° cooler than the monthly average.
