Police still searching for hit and run suspect

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 21, 2013)–  The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) have requested the public’s help in locating a suspect in a hit and run that took place on Saturday, October 26.

Bruce Slay, 54, was riding his bicycle westbound in 2500 block of Kessler Blvd W. Drive when he was hit the rear by a vehicle. After the crash, the vehicle left the scene without the driver stopping to provide aid or information. Mr. Slay was thrown from his bicycle and suffered severe injuries, including numerous broken bones.

Detectives are looking for a 1990-1992 Cadillac Brougham, which will have damage to the right front headlight and bumper. A witness at the scene described the vehicle as “light colored.” The exact color is unknown at this point.
