Get ready for an arctic blast that will last into early next week.  In fact, this morning is the warmest it will be for the next 7 days, as temperatures will fall throughout the day today.  Not only will it turn cold but windy conditions this afternoon will make it feel even colder.  So when it comes to what makes you feel miserable with the weather we have all three…  Cold? Check. Damp? Check.  Windy? Check.

Temperatures in reverse

Rain chances hold through lunchtime today then will end from west to east…This will give way to some sunshine by late afternoon and early evening!  Tonight will be clear and sharply colder with lows in the 20s, wind chills in the teens…

Extended forecast

This weekend will be the coldest since February with highs in the lower 30s and upper 20s.  And although sunshine is expected both days, some flurries should fly around the area on Saturday!  No accumulation locally but some lake-effect snow could impact the northeastern part of the state with snow showers.

For now, nothing threatening in the terms of big snows through the Thanksgiving Holiday with mainly a mix of sun and clouds and near freezing temperatures for highs…Have a great weekend!
