Parents to lobby MSD Wayne Township for stronger tobacco policy

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 25, 2013)– Parents, students and staff in Wayne Township will be attending tonight’s school board meeting, lobbying the board to adopt a 100 percent tobacco-free policy for its school campuses.

The school district is the only district in Marion County that still allows smoking and tobacco use on campus. The meeting will be on Monday at the Wayne Township Education Center on 1220 High School Road at 7:30 p.m.
