Welcome back sunshine. Most of the day should be mostly clear today.

Today, on behalf of the entire Fox 59 weather team and staff I would just like to wish you a happy holiday season.  We all have our unique traditions and events making for unique experiences, but we are all Hoosiers and I think we extend the holiday season attitude to the entire year.  That being said Happy Holidays to you and yours…

For today we see more sunshine after the sun made a brief appearance yesterday afternoon.  Temperatures will also be slightly warmer today than yesterday’s high of 29° as we should get back to just over freezing for our highs today.  Rain chances stay out of your forecast through the weekend.

Speaking of the weekend the slow warm-up will continue through Saturday with Friday highs in the upper 30s and Saturday’s high in the low 40s.  A weak front should slide through Saturday night into Sunday morning bringing with it some slightly cooler air.  I think clear Sunday skies allow us to match the Saturday high of 42 degrees.  Monday’s high will only be 40 degrees though.

A quick note there could be some very light snow possible on Monday and Tuesday.  I’m still waiting on some sort of model agreement before saying too much about the chance.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday!
