One person shot, two stabbed on Indy’s east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 28, 2013) — One person was shot and two people were stabbed on Indy’s east side Thursday evening.

Indianapolis Metro Police were called to the 9800 block of E. 21st St around 9:30.

Police located a large crowd of people yelling in the yard upon arrival.

After further inspection, they found a man who had been shot twice, another man who had multiple stab woulds all over his legs and buttocks, and a woman with stab wounds in her hand and leg.

According to witnesses, the injuries were the result of a disturbance between the two men.

All injured people were taken to Wishard Hospital.

The man who was shot is in serious condition; the man who was stabbed is in critical condition; and the woman who was stabbed is stable.
