INDIANAPOLIS (Dec.2, 2013) – A judge is scheduled to hear a motion Monday to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the parents of Lauren Spierer.

Her parents filed the suit against three people who were the last to see Spierer. The Indiana University student disappeared after a night of drinking and partying in Bloomington in June 2011.

The suit names three of her friends: Michael Beth, Jason “Jay” Rosenbaum and Corey Rossman. Spierer’s parents claim the men didn’t do enough to make sure their daughter got home safely.

The defendants have asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed.
