INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—A driver went to the hospital Wednesday morning after crashing her SUV into a near north side business.

Crews responded to American Construction Co. at 55 E. 22nd St. around 10:50 a.m.

According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, two vehicles were involved in a crash at 22nd Street and Pennsylvania. One of those vehicles–a blue Ford Expedition–drove into the building after the collision.

The 53-year-old driver of the Expedition was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital after complaining of arm pain, according to IFD officials.

The other vehicle involved in the incident crashed into a pole. Officials said the second driver, a 75-year-old woman, was not hurt and didn’t need treatment.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police are investigating the crash.
